Yes. Just confirms what a political morass this is. Choosing judges is one of the most political actions a Commission can make. Putrid.

Good point. Boxing would do itself a lot of good if it were to concentrate its efforts on getting more and/or better judges. It can't be all that difficult to do. Other sports constantly evaluate their judges/refs/whatever, and weed out the riff-raff.... trying to make sure to have the very best out there. Competitive sports are tough enough without having to contend with incompetent judges.... but it's even more magnified in boxing. Think of the poor bastard who trains for months, leaves it all out in the ring, taking a good beating in the process.... only to get cheated out of a well-deserved decision by an incompetent and/or crooked judge.
