I might favor him over a few of the current champions. I bet he'd take a tough fight though first on an undercard on HBO/Showtime.

Yes, he is. I think he's one of the most slept on well rounded pure boxers going today. Have only seen him four times but he shows top notch great skill. Its deceptive when you look at him. He came into Chambers fight and I looked at him and thought "woah this guy is a short bomber made for Eddie", then he absolutely out classed, out boxed and out sped Chambers. He made him look silly. For all the talent he displays he does have possible negatives with the cruiser division and even his deceptive style. He does run the risk and has shown that he is perfectly willing to coast on a lead and be content to sharp shoot counters. Even tonight he dominated, repeatedly stunned Wilson but started moving like a welterweight in the 9th, backfoot galore. He leaves gaps for detractors or idiot judges looking for mercy rounds or any type of change. I honestly don't think HBO would touch him with a 10 foot pole as far as showcase because they shamelessly give the finger to similar guys and again Cruiser isn't stacked with "recognizable" names even to have him play the b side, but who knows. He got great exposure today on network TV. I love watching the guy pure boxer or not, he'll be back on NBC and I only hope he refuses the infamous cruiserweight curse of obscurity and lure of 'big money' for the heavyweight division.
