    Default heavy bag and termites?

    if i have termites in da walls of my house can i still hang a heavy bag from the ceiling? or will the ceiling collapse?

    Ask a handyman or something, your average boxer isn't gonna know an awful lot about strucural strength and wood degeneration and those that could would have to be able to physically examine your wall...

    what if i just hang it on my door frame? i doubt there is any chance of it collapsing right?

    eh, if it's heavy enough, it'll tear the frame down, unless it's a newer (or refurnished) house, otherwise the stud may be to weak to hold it up

    Wouldn't be so sure about that either, new houses are like lego now days, they're practicly plastic, your gonna battering this bag about the place, no door frame will do, you need to find one of the main Lats or some sturdy brick work to place it in.

    what if i buy a wall mount and hang the punching bag to the wall? do you think that will be more stable? or will it rip off a chunk of my wall?

    From what I hear, those mounts aren't the best.

    The best have three bars steming from the mount.
