I would be surprised it happens and Cotto should be favourite. Khan has height and reach as well as speed but do not think he could hurt Cotto.

He is being a bit silly and is liable to be posing in his underwear at any moment. There are a lot of good fights for Khan to make at WW and he should stay there. He should try and rematch Garcia for a start. He should avoid Manny though as he might look good for a bit, but that chin is not going to hold up. Khan probably beats Mayweather though!

exactly, there are plenty of good sellable fights for him at 147, as you said a rematch against Garcia, a fight with Thurman, Porter, Bradley, Chaves (who looked good against Bradley), Rios, Broner, Algieri, Provodnikov, Matthysse, even a rematch against Madiana or a fight against Marquez

Cotto's nothing but a chubby welter so its really a non issue. Hearns made the transition, Tito etc. There is no rule that says you have to have x amount of fights before moving up. Its 7/8 pounds. Its a yoyo sport.

I agree with you Cotto was already small at 154 and khan is bigger then he is I'd actually probably pick Khan to win if he can keep Cotto at a distance. It'd be a good fight.

At a 155 catchweight I doubt there would be much weight difference on the night. Khan would have a height and reach advantage. Speed advantage (lol). Youth.
