After yesterday I'm tempted to add Mike Perez to the list.

Manny has one, maybe two more, mega fights left in the tank. For one, he can fight Alvarez. Second, we can all see a Floyd or JMM rematch. Even at the worst end of it, there is Khan, Maidana and Thurman/Brook. I see Manny doing two more and then going into politics full time.
As for Kirkland, he will be back. And he will be a good time filler.
Quillen, meh. I was so high on him, but he has turned into a dodging suck-bag. Dodged Korobov, for what?!?! From that on it sorta ticked me on him, and made worse when he could not put away Andy Lee. Even Chavez Jr. put away Lee- albeit Jr. was about 20 pounds heavier that night.
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Yeah Manny will fight again. He's not gonna go out with this performance. But his options are not as numerous as you'd like to think, ykda. First of all, NOBODY..... I mean NOBODY..... wants to see..... I mean.... suffer through a Floyd-Pac rematch. Pac had his chance..... he blew it big time. Not since the Canelo fight had Floyd had it so easy. Pac-JMM 5 ?? Naw..... This isn't "Police Academy", where they couldn't leave well enough alone and nauseated us with about 8 sequels. Enough is enough.
Kirkland may be back as well.... 'cause unfortunately he probably doesn't have enough people close to him brave and stern enough to "take away the keys". He's totally shot, as he demonstrated against Canelo. I like boxing.... but I don't think I would've liked the old Christians vs. Lions matches back in those days.
Quillen is probably the least damaged of the three. He just needs a major attitude adjustment, 'cause physically there's nothing wrong with him.
Are you saying they are never getting in a ring again or there not going to be as good. I can agree with the not being as good but they will fight again trust me that is what happens. I am Holyfeild fan i went through this phase with him for a fucking decade before he hung them up.
What's wild about Kirkland's loss is he left Ann Wolfe because he thought the new team would give him the skills (thinking fighter) when in fact he looked more wreckless than ever.
But here is the kicker,: Have you read Ann's comment on his loss? She stated the problem in her opinion was: you don't put a fighter like Kirkland in with Canelo without having fought in over a year.
Seems Ann may have an unorthodox training regime-But had she been allowed to train him---she wouldn't have taken the Canelo fight without a top ten fighter to prep him
Even more reason to think he will never be the fighter he could have been.
From inactivity due to prison, leaving Ann, turning down fights-his window has come and gone.
At best he can become a journeyman like Edison Miranda.
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
