having a chin?

yeah ive been hearin people say that mundine didn't have a chin( meaning he cant take a punch if its not somthign ur familier with it) and i was just wondering if its only expeerience in the ring that can give u 1

Experience and genetics. Some take a punch better than others. You shouldn't need to take a punch though (though no matter who you box you will get hit if they are reasonably compitent... ) gotta focus on your defence...

as you spar and compete more, you do toughen up. don't know if it's just that you get used to the shock of being hit and your brain is ready for it so that you dont get knocked out, or if your face is actually toughening up, but i've noticed that i can take shots that used to i couldn't.
