Fedderers style of play is built for consistency and a long career. It is like watching Hopkins beating up a young, hungry and undefeated young boxer.

I hope this was a joke as you are referring to Monica Seles who I absolutely loved. I'mtalking about Martina Hingis aka the Swiss Miss. She came off as a complete brat on so many occasions.

My mistake I meant Monica Seles.

Serena Williams' hopes of securing a calendar Grand Slam were ended in stunning fashion by Italy's Roberta Vinci in the semi-finals.
Vinci, the world number 43 and playing her first Grand Slam semi-final, caused a huge upset with a 2-6 6-4 6-4 win.
Williams, 33, had been two wins from completing a clean sweep of all four majors in 2015.
Vinci, 32, will play Flavia Pennetta in an all-Italian final at Flushing Meadows on Saturday.

Wow! Simone Halep, the #2 seed, got bounced as well. She got trounced, really.
Upsets galore on the women's side.

    War Federer!!

The men play later on tonight.

Saw a little of the post-match interview with Serena. I must say..... there's several jobs that are comparable in degree of enjoyment, as far as I'm concerned. Cesspool cleaning, alligator wrestling, disposable diaper bin emptying.......... and interviewing Serena Williams. Especially after a loss. I'd rather get a root canal without anesthetic.

    Thanks.

Not too many details... just the headlines.

BTW, Roger's looking good. If only he can get past Djokovic this one time. Problem Novak looked unbeatable himself in the semis. Either way... it's gonna be a helluva match. I just hope Roger stays mentally on his game the whole time.

I like the articles that claim her boyfriend rapper "Drake" caused it! They show a slew of sports events he went to- and all of the teams he rooted for lost in grand fashion.

    The Drake-Jinks continues LOL!
All's lost! Everything's going to shit!
