I've made my mind up; retire already.

He KO'd his nemesis and beat a younger fighter. Nothing left to prove, please retire on top.

Juan Manuel Marquez has always been one of my favorite fighters in recent times.
He has my utmost respect... and I will miss watching him fight when he's gone.

He should retire, nothing left to prove at all and he really never had any business fighting near welterweight. Even at 135 he was giving up a lot physically, being in some total wars with Katsidis and Juan Diaz, guys who he was so much better than. I guess a 5th fight with Pacquiao might still be on the table, could make sense for both of those guys to cash out and retire on that, but I don't think it's likely or a fight anyone really needs to see. Would hate to see him take a bad loss against some young guy who dwarfs him, there was talk of him and Brook a while back, that would have been crazy imo.

Not big on these farewell fights, if you still pull enough to plan the showcase, opponent and event..chances are you'll be back. I'd like to see him call it a career. Took the low radar road at first but proved a great, evolved his style. Reduced to playing pocket slugger with Tim was enough though. Since Manny announced retirement date?! lets all just prepare our stomachs for HIS farewell fight?

JMM should do a tour of farewell fights like JCC did and let the fans see him against C level fighters.

Marquez should have retired after knocking out Pacquiao. As a fan I'd still love to see him against some of the top guys at 147 and 140. He has nothing left to prove though so he could hang em up anytime.

I still want to see him and Eric Morales go at it in a farewell fight for both.

Without Manny there would be no JMM to speak of in this tone. He was a good fighter. But, without Manny- not even Floyd or Diaz- there would truly be no JMM at this level.

He should fight Manny one more time. This time without the juice.

JMM deserves his own legacy without Manny. JMM has beaten quality fighters in epic fights.
