They've managed to duck him quite successfully up to now. I see no reason why that should change unless Rigondeaux signs with Haymon and they can't avoid it but it looks like Haymon is ducking signing a Rigondeaux deal too.

What's stopping the various sanctioning bodies just not rating him anywhere? They're not going to want to make him mandatory when they know their champion doesn't want to fight him. If they force their champ to fight him and they manage to make the fight somehow and Rigo wins then they're back in the same position again, the belt held by a guy that TV companies and other fighters don't want to know, meaning the belt doesn't make any sanctioning fees. So why should they bother with him once they've stripped him?
