Hats off to you, you were just about the only knowledgeable guy to pick Fury and to stick with that prediction. Do you feel like one of the only three writers who picked Clay over Liston?

I must admit that I never saw this coming. I never thought Fury would outbox a former Olympic champion and actually get a decision in Germany. Clearly, I know fuck all about boxing.

Fury was excellent, his feinting tied Wlad in knots and he dominated the fight. Big big points win, I thought the judges had it closer than it really was.

    Either Wlad got old overnight, or this fight told us a few things;
    - Wlad consistently said "I will do what I always do", and it was very clear that he had no Plan B. That's very disappointing for an elite fighter. Once he couldn't establish a jab, and once he found out he couldn't lean all over Fury, he had absolutely nothing.
    - Wlad was reduced to stalking and looking for the big punch. He looked like a bumbling amateur. He didn't get any punches off, didn't cut down the ring and didn't try to bully Fury.
    - I don't think great champions get totally dominated and lose titles in such a dispirited way. I can't think of any of the greats who got so dominated when they eventually lost
    - let's see what happens in the rematch though!

Credit to Fury, good boxing skills and EXCELLENT fitness (something else I was wrong about). Confident and mentally intimidated Klit in there. Good chin and real old school feinting. I bet he wishes he had a bigger punch though

    Fair play to you Ross

Yep, Wlad will be calling @El Kabong, @Dark Lord Al and @Vendettos to give them quotes on tarmacing their drives

Looks like he can push a good wheelbarrow!
I'm not making him a fucking brew .

    I never saw that coming
    I did!

All along, I never waivered! It was clear how skilled Tyson was.

Think of this also, I agree this is his first decent opponent but he was also the best the world had to offer. Tyson has got good experience from this and gets better!!
I dont think Fury boxed anywhere near to the best of his ability last night. Better things to come. Hope he fights Joshua soon.

Joshua will look equally as clueless and I agree. Tyson is going down as one of the greats. This was an experience fight for him!

I knew if Tyson won the battle of the jabs the fight was his. Tyson was too tall for Wlad to grab and hold. This is how Wlad won his fights. Control the fight with his jab then hold on when the other fighter got inside. Couldn't do that against Fury. I'm happy for Fury and the people of GB. You guys have another HW champion of the world. I wish I could have saw the fight on sky sports instead of HBO.

I was watching the fight, switching between a few streams (Kodi box) and I for once enjoyed the HBO commentary more.
Roy Jones was on point last night.

Saying that though, I made sure I 'came home' to Sky for the scorecards
