One of the many things I've respected about Ali is that despite his boasting leading up to a fight, he never shied away from the press and potential embarrassment after losing a fight. I found it commendable. Heck, after losing the biggest fight in his life against Frazier, he did interviews the very next day with busted ribs and jaws the size of cantaloupes.

Then, there are other guys who just couldn't handle losing or the embarrassment/ego shattering aspect of it.

Marvin Hagler - I don't buy into the "I was robbed" talk he claimed. Fact is, he got outsmarted and outwitted by the one fighter he couldn't stand in SRL....and it ate him alive for quite a while.

Brockton, you should have mentioned Patterson's budget on wigs, shades and beards so he could walk outside without being noticed. He had to be the most sensitive heavyweight champ in boxing history. He would even help up the guys he knocked out along side the referee.
