In your opinion, who would have the best chance of beating Vitali Klitschko?
Could you imagine how ugly a Fury-Vitali fight would be? Two tall guys who are awkward as hell.

I always rated Vitali. Not the smoothest technical boxer, could look a bit plodding and was fairly easy to hit ......
But, huge, strong and fit. Simple technical boxing style, big puncher, great great chin and a fighters heart.
I suspect that he would have been competitive with just about any heavyweight who ever lived. I think he old have the most problems with boxers, who could keep out of his way and not get overpowered. I reckon The younger Ali's style is all wrong for Vitali. I think Joe Louis would also have Ben too much for him (possibly controversially given the size difference), Tyson and Foreman may (may!) have blitzed him, Holyfield may have outworked him.
I would love to see him against Riddick Bowe, Andrew Golota, David Tua ... Those would have be wars.
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?
Lennox Lewis?
Pele Reid.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Agree with X, for a while he would have been very hard for anyone to beat. Think Lewis in his best shape would have done it easier injury or not, also Larry Holmes I could see beating him wide.
Vitali was stronger and more durable than his little brother just not as skilled. Lennox, Tyson, Ali, Holmes, Evander, Bowe at their best beat him.
Foreman would put up a great scrap.

Deonta...nevermind. Though there really is a skill gap between the two he lost to and some of his bigger wins. Arreola, Sanders, Johnson, Gomez etc decent fighters but far from diverse battlers. Bowe would have a very narrow window as far as 'which Bowe' showed up. Skill wise he had everything to beat him. Holyfield could very well grind him out with combination punching. Fun one would have been the size and approach of an Ibeabuchi.
A Fury-Vitali fight would be no uglier than the Fury-Wlad fight. Because at least Vitali would come forward and engage. This would force Fury's hand one way or another. Wlad was scared to engage (as usual), and Fury was being overly cautious as to not make a fight-altering mistake.
Still find it amazing how inept Wlad looked against Fury. Surely he was not that afraid of being chinned?
