I posted this in the Fury v Klit thread.
Strange one both he and Hughie tested for it but I'm guessing it was a tiny amount over otherwise it would have been pretty big news, as it is its a small story in the mirror.
Maybe more will come out as time goes on but I kind of think it's being blown out of proportion at the minute
I hope they investigate and finds out that this is all a mistake and not true.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
yeah, I just re-read my comment and first of all I say its a small story in the mirror and then I say it is being blown out of proportion, doesn't really make sense does it.
I guess I am trying to say that the article is misleading and could be insinuating that it has the potential to be more serious than it is.
Its misleading when it says an anabolic steroid but then says its a naturally occuring subtance in the human body already. The levels were slightly raised as to what a normal person would produce. Well the afurys arent normal people. The are the land of the giants and all look adult by the time they are teenagers.
I dont think there has been any cheating. If you are at that stage in your career would you really use something so old hat? I remember Linford Christie being found using this and I think Dwain Chambers, sprinters in the early 2000's.
If he had been found cheating Klitschkos team would have been all over it.
What would really happen if he was actually found guilty of cheating, whch he hasnt. What would happen to the belts, including the IBF?
Fury doesnt strike me as having the build of someone who uses roids.
"A much more likely theory has recently emerged from the results of a preliminary investigation at Aberdeen University. The findings are that dietary supplements themselves are harmless and produce no increased levels of nandrolone. Exercise alone, too, doesn't cause any problems. But a combination of both dietary supplements (none of which contain a banned substance) and exercise, can result in a positive nandrolone test. The reason for this is still unclear, but one theory is that there is a link between heavy training, the dehydration that goes with it, and their effects upon the components of high protein diets. Until more work is done, however, the 'nandrolone mystery' goes on..."
Nandrolone
Tyson Fury is white. So that will affect how the powers that be treat him. That is, his denials will be taken more seriously and the penalties won't be as harsh as they would have been had it had been Wilder or Josh.
Look at what happened when Sharapova admitted to using steds (2 year ban) if that was Serena Williams she would have never been allowed to hit another tennis ball again.
But in regards to this case, If anyone actually believes Fury is on roids, they need their head examined
Nothing about him says roids, not his body, or his power
But then again, Erkan Teper was juiced up and look at the state of him
The only thing which is suspicious to me is how quickly he can get himself in fighting condition.
2 weeks into training and his body looked drastically different. I suppose its doable especially with insane training regime. but tyson is not the most motivated person.

Ignoring the infantile bit at the start of your post you end it by saying Fury isn't the most motivated person, I've read countless times that when he gets into camp he trains like an absolute mad man and lives breathes and dies for it, yeah he isn't a gym rat in between fights but he certainly can motivate himself when he has to.
And don't believe him when he says himself he isn't motivated, that is all tomfoolery and head games.
He ain't no Mayweather in between fights but he ain't quite Ricky Hatton either
I am not so sure Tyson Fury is white.
Saw this same response by people in the states about Rafael Palmeiro, he popped hot only a few months after waving his finger at members of congress.
Look at Tysons body now, it has changed quite a bit since he tested positive, like a man that stopped using. Go to the gym and you will see many soft men. What you have to consider is not the shape they are in but rather the shape they would be in without.
We don't know anything except that they both failed the tests, that part is not being contested. They will have a chance to explain why they tested positive and then people can choose whether they believe them by whether they like them or not. Because that is what is always the deciding factor with fans sadly.
Whoa calm down he hasnt failed any test. They have found raised levels of a substance that naturally occurs in your body and there is research done that proves hard training and taking legal suppliments can raise these levels somehow. Read the link I posted above.
