Parker is a winnable fight for Hughie. Parker is athletic but not a great amount of anything else. Hughie will have height and reach on him and he could frustrate him and outbox him. Of course now that Hughie is 100% I fully expect him to skewer Parkers head like a shish with the first jab he throws. We'll see.

Too soon? Fuck me , he might be young but his progress , for one reason or another has been painfully slow.
This time last year he was offered Wilder but he turned it down because he wanted a big Turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

Hughie is young and not worked his way up like Tyson has but this fight is winnable so he should take it. No different to AJ being offered the Turkey he beat to win the title.

so who exactly did Tyson beat to "work his way up"? AJ knocked his Turkey out. Hughie just wanted to eat his? Oh yeah, with Wilder and just about everybody else who has "avoided" Hughie, "the money wasn't right." Let's see if the money is right to fight Parker.
You said it might be too soon, but tbh , Fury has more experience than Parker.

AJ has also not fought Wilder and taken an easier route.

I think outside of New Zealand Hughie beats Parker comfortably. In New Zraland it would be a worry in the cards when even New Zealnds boxing comission came out publicly and said Ruiz was robbed!

He he was supposed to face Ruiz and I thought he'd beat him comfortably too. That fight was supposed to be an eliminator but because Ruiz pulled out and Haye has signed to fight someone else this is why Hughie has taken the mandatory spot.

Parker is good but gets hit too easy.

I didn't get to see the fight but read a few round by rounds and they and the reactions after seem to all say so. Parker may have fought nervous as he had said that Ruiz was the hardest puncher he had ever faced. They sparred and Ruiz cracked him so hard he couldn't use his jaw to eat for 3 days.

I thought the scorecards for ruiz jr v parker were very fair, definently wasn't a robbery, although i think if it was in mexico maybe the the scores would have been reversed or it would have been a draw(115-113 on two cards and a draw on the other). I think parker won, I had him up by 2..

Parker is good but he does get hit too much like ross said, so fury certainly has a chance and if he manages to beat him then he is certainly one of the best heavyweights out there.
