I always thought of him years ago as a very good fighter but never heard about him for years.

Then thought he was just some clown in his chasing of Klitchko and Haye. (Kinda of ironic as that is how Haye landed Klitchko fight.) and recent fights were pathetic.

Glad I watched this as he sees like a great guy. Mental issues for sure but I think he'll be the first to say so.

God knows I can't talk.

I really like the guy.

The problem I have with people writing Briggs off is that he hasn't ever shown a massive decline in skill.
He lost his last big fight to Vitali with an injured shoulder and stayed the distance.

He has a punch, a chin and a heart.

His record in the last 15 years is 24(23)-2-0 with 1 NC

I agree some stay busy fights in there but we are assuming he hasn't got it because he hasn't been in with a name in a while.

Let's remember
1. He is the most decorated active HW.
2. He has probably the best chin in the current HW div.
3. He is up there are one of the hardest punchers in the HW division.


Why does he not have a chance?

Briggs is nothing but a name at this point. He chatted with me on FB before, so simply because of his kindness I'm rooting for him, but I just don't see much an opportunity for him at his age outside of puncher's luck.
