Come on then, let's have a chat about David Price.
Would you give him another go?
Strip that weight, better conditioning, perhaps a chat with Tyson Fury?
No one feels as bad as he does this morning..is it all over?

It's up to him really. I appreciate how hard it is to call it a day. It's his livelihood , but unfortunately when you lose, your stock goes down, your earnings fall, and let's see how keen he is fighting in small halls for shit money. Harsh realities.
How about his trainer?
Did he give him the best advice?

The trainer was bad and was giving him all the wrong advice.
Price needs to learn from Wlad and learn to hold when he is hurt.
Price did knock down Hunter but Price needs to fight 20 C level fighters and build up his confidence before moving up to B level.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
A 6' 6"guy who cannot close on an opponent one he has him hurt has no place in boxing--a sport that seldom has a happy ending. I feel a tad of pity for him. He pushed to his limits but cold no exceed them. Better to have tied and failed than to not have tried at all.
“If you want loyalty, buy a dog.” Ricky Hatton
Is this a joke? I mean he could be some kind of lower tier domestic gatekeeper, but the guy obviously can not fight, of course it's over.
It's up to him really if he wants to continue fighting but what's the point? He'll never be elite and even contender status would be a stretch. Does anyone even want to see him fight again?
I cant watch that video at work but I thought the trainer got it all wrong in the corner
one thing I remember him telling price to do was to stop ramming the jam out?
but in general he was talking very fast and getting him more wound up, should have been calming him down, he'd have been better saying nothing, price was burning out on nervous energy as it was
but having said that, this is what price does, I think anyone would have had a difficult job
Officially the only saddo who has had a girlfriend
No trainer, or no amount of cardio is going to change what Price has become. His problems are all in his head. His total lack of belief in himself means that he's not punching properly or with any real conviction. He's robbed himself of any opportunity to win of fight of any significance. There was a time when you could make the argument that he's still got a punchers chance, still got that big right hand, well that's a shadow of its former devastating self. All credit to Hammer, but he should never have got anywhere near Price.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
Gasses out - but i'm sure they've worked on his fitness, so I can only think it's his mental state wearing him out
