Default What should Haye do next..?

Everyone must have an opinion on this..if he can't get the rematch should he just take a hit and play the B side to get a heavyweight title shot? Retire?

Where will Haye be in the next 6 months?

I think an injury like that takes at least 6 months so he has to rest again.

Fat Bellew will stay at heavyweight now.

Surgery, rehab, rematch. It will sell because at some point he will start talking about the injury and Bellew will act like it made no difference. Let's face it, neither fighter is going to be in anything any more exciting than tonight.

ko some no hopers and talk nonsense in the media get a fight that he can sell well... rinse and repeat :S... haye is weird, he was pretty impressive as a boxer, looks pretty bad now though, I would not pick him to beat many of the top guys now.. Brilliant self promoter though, hats off to him for the way he made his way up the heavyweight ranks, media manipulating genius.. well done haye

Hayes done. His career has been plagued by injuries and hes prone to sick notes. At 36 getting older, slower and unable to throw a straight punch I think his body is giving out on him and he'd have done himself a favour if he stayed on his stool.

He showed heart tonight enough to retire removing the memory of lack of heart vs Klitschko. We don't want a year of rehabilitation followed by a year of fighting Demoris and gjagajis etc for him to return aged 40 as the new and improved David Haye version 3.0 only for another domestic guy to add another Ko loss to his record. His Shoulder stopped him from throwing punches properly, now his ankles don't work and stopped him from standing properly. Next it will be his hands or he'll come hobbling in wearing knee braces like Sergio Martinez so I can't see him salvaging his career. It's over. This is a young mans game & David looks good externally but physically he is an accident waiting to happen. Sad to see him on the floor shaking his head in disappointment, his head was fine but body wouldn't react, that's the sign to get out the game. Thanks for the memories David

    It's this.

    And why not?

As for another 'injury excuse'. Seriously fuck off. Fight Haye yourself. You think that was fake? Fight him and make loads.

Bellew is utter garbage . however he did the boxing basics. Haye was swinging like a kid in a playground , he needs to fuck off into the night because real boxing fans are tired of him.

Ross convinced himself that Haye cut his own head open then posted a pic of the stitches to avoid the Fury fight

    It's this.

    And why not?
Because they sell it as a ppv box office fight when it is just a second rate heavyweight fight. Bellew was breathing hard when he was fighting an injured fighter who breaks down all the time.

Tony still took all Hayes best shots.

The injury obviously played a part but David made the mistake of fighting bums prior to this fight.

David will be out for awhile with his ankle and will probably now start looking for a world title money fight with Briggs if the rematch isn't made.

Felt sorry for David fighting on one leg but kudos to bellow for avoiding and taking some of the big shots as well.

It's time for Fury to return..

Fury will tell it like it is.

Haye is like a clapped out car on his last legs.

Bellew has no right campaigning at heavyweight based on that performance.

The injury paves the way for a rematch and they'll milk it again. His body will let him down again though.
