Can BJS run away from Lemieux's power for 12 rounds in the land of Joe Louis, Pepsi, & poutine?
BJS is in good condition so he stands a good chance of winning and style wise Lemieux is perfect for him. Having said all that i still think he loses.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
If BJS wins this, I'll take my hat off to him. He does look in better shape and more motivated in his new environment.
But the way I see it if BJS is to win, let's be honest, it's gonna be on points. So as the champion, why go into Lemieux's back yard and a very big risk of a hometown decision?
I also think people are underestimating Lemieux's talent a little.
If the fight was in the UK , a BJS Points win would definitely be a possibility.
I really don't know what Frank Warren is playing at here.
Former Undisputed 4 belt Prediction champion. Still P4P and People’s Champion.
BJS is no joke.
Slick boxer.
One of my favourite UK fighters.
I really hope he wins this and doesn't gas..
He won't gas. He'll get KO'd.
BJS will win the fight but will lose on the cards.
Not sure how Lemiuex wins on points, without knockdowns, but Golden Boy/HBO have bought the belt so.... although they obviously think this is Canelo-Smith (virtually identical situation).
Listening to some respected American voices (with ties to GB), they were saying the GB insiders consider it a doddle for Lemiuex
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I really want Lemieux to win here. If he can hurt Saunders he might pull it off. I see Saunders surviving some rough moments to winning a decision.
They live, We sleep
Seems BJS is damned if he does damned if he doesn't. If he wins on points it will be all "Well Lemieux was a very one dimensional slugger and it proves nothing and if he loses it we be all "Always said he was an over rated (insert your Gypsy related slag off here ) Brit who was lucky to beat a very green Eubank Jr."
It's not Jacobs or GGG but it's a good fight and fair play to them both for getting it made. Something for everyone.
Bigger man George, bigger punch!

Difficult one to call this. Too many uncertainties. Only thing I'm sure of is that BJS wont be winning by stoppage. Saunders can hit a bit when he digs his toes in and has a following wind, but on the whole it'll be point scoring stuff. Lemieux has got the two stoppage losses but to be fair, the Rubio one was one of those dodgy behind the ear scramblers. His corner pulled him out of there and you can understand why, but I reckon he would have got through it. He possibly ran into Golokvin at his best and ate a shit load of leather and again, it was a bit of a mercy stoppage, he would have carried on. Saunders wont be landing that hard and that often.
The Saunders engine is still up for debate for me. He did the 12 against Monroe Jnr but that was at a canter. He's looked electric in the first half of fights before and faded down the back nine.
I can see Saunders opening well and being too slick, too mobile for Lemieux. Out manoeuvring Lemieux wont be enough though, if he wants to avoid the second half onslaught and possible wilt, he needs to land some authoritative punches early doors when I think he'll be on top.
Stick a gun to my head and I pick Lemieux to dig himself out of a hole and take a points win down the stretch.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
Charley Burley
It is tough to call this one and it's a fight im looking forward to a lot, Classic Boxer v Puncher styles.
Saunders stamina and focus needs to be bang on from the off, i see this going the same way as the Eubank jnr and Lee fights with Saunders dominating the first half of the fight, Ingle claims he's in even better shape than the Monroe fight and the second half of the fight will tell us if he's right.
Has Saunders chin ever massively been tested is another thing? Eubank and Lee both caught him with some decent punches and he seemed to be ok.
Saunders should win this if he remains focused but Lemieux has a left hand that can fuck him up at any point in the fight.
I really want BJS to lose but he can definitely outbox Lemieux. Lemieux is super aggressive though. He’s one of those fighters who either get you out of there through aggression or just tires himself out.
I will predict that BJS wins but I hope I’m wrong.
I disagree, Lemmy is pretty highly rated (on this forum alone) and if he wins then it will be a great victory, if Lemmy kops him with one big punch and gets the finish then...well its boxing, anyone can get clumped and have the fight turn against them.
I want BJS to win, I hope he gets the result and pushes on, it seems like he has took his career for granted since he won the title.
He won't beat either GGG or Ginger Pubes but there is no shame in losing to either of them.
When BJS pulls out the win I expect everyone here to give him the props he deserves..BJS on decision..in Canada..please don't rob him.
