Just found out this fight is on ITV sport! Excuse ignorance, have booked it by registering, you can have it delivered by sky by giving your card number and pin for a one-off payment, but ITV sport tell you they will retain your payment details (in my case paypal). I tried to get it delivered on amazon firestick (keep away from the missus strictly) but if you do that you have to register with another ITV company that signs you up for a fiver a month unless you explicitly cancel after the fight.

Not easy to navigate but I guess most of you will already know this, except................. Master

I do live near Windsor, where we are now well known for our allegedly homeless street beggars. If Master wants a day begging in Peascod Street Windsor I will gladly pick him up in the evening and take him to my house to watch the fight, and give him a bed for the night, providing he turns his begging stash into beer.

    Only joking...............

You could have got the 2nd semi final for about £4 If you'd have booked both together.
Anyone know any of the undercard fights?

    Undercard line up

Norwich featherweight Ryan Walsh defends his British Featherweight title against unbeaten Isaac Lowe.

Promising Zach Parker - who is the reserve for the main event should Eubank Jr or Groves pull out - is also on the bill.

British middleweight title: Tommy Langford (19-1) vs Jack Arnfield (25-2)

English cruiserweight title: Arfan Iqbal (12-0) vs Simon Vallily (12-1)

Zach Parker (14-0) vs Adasat Rodriguez (16-6-2)

Danny Craven (3-1) vs Luther Clay (6-1)

In the event of a draw the "count back" system comes into play, rules explained in the link below.
I kinda like this idea and maybe they should test it out across the board.

This is getting me excited in anticipation of this fight.

Wonder where I can watch/hear it for free, does anyone know if radio has coverage?

Decent fight, but not a world shaking matchup.

We know all about Groves, good technique, excellent jab and a very sharp right hand. Can be hurt, and he gasses out badly. We know what to expect.

Eubank Jnr is an unknown quantity. He seems solid enough and by all accounts has sparred well and has a good chin. Of course, he has benefited from his surname and his silly media personality.

I think I will go for Groves (marginally); more big fight experience, more ringcraft and he will be much bigger that Jnr on fight night. Perhaps a bit of vaghela ntroversy, with the ref stopping Jnr in the mid rounds, and the Eubanks claiming bitterly that it was a premature stoppage.

of course, this one could go the other way, with Jnr taking control after the mid point when Groves slows down. Or, knowing my predictions, a 30 second blowout for somebody

You bloody cheapskate! I have already offered you a room and a begging pitch in Windsor, perhaps if you bed down outside the Manchester arena you may hear something useful, that you can record on your cassette system, hope the weather gets better.

Surprisingly Eubank Jr seemed really nervous at the press conference. Whatever he says about sparring back in the day he clearly admires Groves,
he can't hide the respect, just listen to how he constantly says he will "PROVE, PROVE, PROVE." All those nights ringside watching Groves (Froch, DeGale, Jack, etc) have clearly left an impression.

Look at Jr nervously shuffling about before the face off, waiting for Groves to take the lead.

(I still can't believe the size difference, Groves never monsters over anyone (ignoring Cox))

Groves looks ice cold and in the zone to me. Eubank seems to be rattling, downed an entire bottle of water at that press conference.
Adam Booth has recently said that Groves is the one who hurt Eubank in those spars years ago and also said that one of them wants this fight way more than the other.
Let's not forget that Groves hand picked Jnr as well.
Really think Groves is gonna bang him out more now I've watched that presser.
Eubank snr is trying to plant seeds in the refs head with his "protect the fighters" B.S..
Only reason he's saying this is because Jnr is a volume puncher and maybe if he swarms Groves and throws enough knuckle the ref might be hoodwinked into stopping it prematurely.
Groves by KO/Stoppage inside 5 rounds.
Still sticking £20 on round 1 and 2 Groves KO though.

It would be cool if the losers of the semi's fought each other on the undercards of the finals for both divisions.

More and more confident in my Groves pick the closer we get to the fight.

Just rewatched groves vs Froch and they said how groves was his own man and didn't need a trainer whereas Froch relied heavily on McCracken. It's a role reversal in this fight. Groves has matured since and admits he needs a strong cornerman in mguigan and eubank is the young naive guy who thinks he can do it all on his own. Wonder if it will play as a big a part as it did that night in 2013

ironically eubank was boasting about what he was doing at such a young age and groves pointed out he is only one year older than Chris. Groves had already had 3 world title fights by the time he was Eubanks age now. Eubank hasn't had 1 yet

is that true? Did Groves say that? Because I specifically remember when he was sat on the apron after the fight, he was nearly in tears, giving credit to Paddy Fitzgerald for coming in after Booth fucked him over (ok, he didn't quite say that. )
And he eventually got rid of Paddy (rightly or wrongly) because of the need for a top class trainer in his view.
ps. I'm buzzing for this fight for 2 reasons.
    1. To see Groves outclass that Clown . And
    2. Because I will then become a "Saddo prediction World Champion!" "And the new!"

Pps. I have got one minor panic attack. Does anyone know how I book this through Virgin Media? I haven't seen anything come up.
