Yea that Glowacki/Vlasov fight is the best match of the first round. Vlasov could be the dark horse.

Tabiti-Fayfer and Glowacki-Vlasov should produce a serious threat to Briedis and Dorticos.
Not to impressed with Fayfer, but only seen highlights. Dorticos war with Gassiev could have left a mark.
To win the whole comp Tabiti is 6/1, Glowaki and Vlasov 8/1, Fayfer 25/1.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Don't see the point in this so soon after the last one.
We already know the best Cruiserweight which is the whole point of the tournament.
So whoever wins this can claim to be second or joint best?
I thought that as well, Smash, having a cruiser comp so soon after the other demeans the other a little as well as this one. However, the winner of this tournament, especially if it's a young gun, sets up a super fight with Uysk (or Bellew you never know).
The real reason is probably because Sauerland only ever works with big blokes (middleweight and above) as they rate/sell much better than smaller weights (there's no boxing below middle in Germany). Probably bottled it after the bantam and lightwelter haven't got much attention

It does establish a clear number 2,but that winner may head to heavy soon after as well.
There should be some good fights and at least 5/6 are top rated guys in the division.

We could see another lineal (or Ring mag at the least) champion crowned after season 2 of the WBSS Cruiser tournament?
Tabiti/ Fayer are #2 and #3 in the IBF (which #1 vacant), so it would appear their fight could be an eliminator for the mandatory spot, or depending if Usyk has decided to move up, it could be for the vacant belt. Minimum, the winner becomes #1 with the IBF.
Briedis is the WBC #1, Gevor is their #14. Briedis wins, he remains WBC #1.
Vlasov is the WBO #1, Glowacki is their #2. That fight could be for the mandatory or an interim title. Minimum, the winner is #1 with the WBO.
The only problem (as usual lately) is the WBA. They already have Shumenov holding one of their belts, and Goulamirian holding their interim.
Briedis could remain #2 in the division (behind Usyk) if he advances to the finals and the winner of Glowacki/ Vlasov could arguably move to #3.
The seeding sets up these possible semi’s:
Briedis/ Gevor winner vs Glowacki/ Vlasov winner
Dorticus/ Masternak winner vs Fayfer/ Tabiti winner
If Usyk announces his intentions to move to heavy after the Bellew fight, the 1st semi there, could crown 2nd lineal champ.

Or the winner could fight Bellew should he win his next fight.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
My ideal situation would be for Usyk to fight Bellew, then defend against Lebedev, then face off against the winner of season 2. If Briedis wins the 2nd season, then it's a well deserved rematch.
Don't see it happening that way tho, as the big money/ fights at heavy will be calling to Usyk.
Usyk seems like the decent type, I think if he plans to move to heavy (after Bellew) he will relinquish the titles so the others can get the opportunity.
Hearn/ DAZN will keep Usyk busy, so he may remain at cruiser for another few fights, while the heavyweight division sorts it sh-t out.

The heavyweight division will never sort itself out but I think you are right Usyk will probably move up. I am sure some of the heavyweights will fancy their chances against him being smaller and not a huge puncher. That will work in his favour until they realise he could be the real deal.
Anyway I think the heavyweight journey is more of an intriguing story than defending his title at cruiserweight.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
First fight is this weekend between unbeaten cruiserweights Andrew Tabiti and Ruslan Fayfer. Pretty even match-up on paper.
