Good thread, and three good choices. I would've loved to have seen a Hagler-Hearns rematch. I think Tommy lasts longer than 3 rounds in a rematch.
oh hell yeah, I forgot about that one. Yeah Hearns wouldve played it more slick and boxed I think (??) (didnt he already TRY that though) I mean he sure wouldve done it a bit differently, seeing that you just cant take Hagler out with a single nuclear missile like he landed in Rd 1. I would go with Hagler in the rematch but more like maybe a KO 8
Hagler still had one or two good fight in him after Hearns because he was getting older and slower so think he would have got a stoppage late in the fight. However Hearns did have the boxing ability to keep it at range and cut up Hagler to get a stoppage of his own.

Oh come on everyone knows a rematch was in order there.
It's amazing how they built up Lacey and he had this undefeated record and then when he got in there he was so outclassed and he looks so slow and his punches were so inaccurate. I think Joe's head movement was part of the key to his success that night. With all due respect I look back now on the way that they inflated Jeff Lacey's record and how they Champion him as being the Mike Tyson of his division and I can't help but think of people like Michael Grant and with all due respect it reminds me of Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder both of them are like the modern-day version of the Jeff Lacy phenomenon

Hmmmm.....
Wlad-Fury 2: That fight was a fluke and Wlad was not mentally in that fight had he been he would have won.
Cotto-Pacquaio 2: I think Miguel Cotto with a trainer beats the dogshit out of Pac. Look how poorly he did vs Pac and how good he did vs Floyd...with a legit trainer in his corner Cotto is at the very least more competitive.
Vitali-Lewis 2: Up on the cards, fight stopped by a cut, Lennox bailed at the right time but it would have been a beautiful thing to see those guys fight after they prepared to fight each other instead of short notice. One of my favorite fights of all time, just a blood and guts battle between two absolute dreadnoughts!
Honorable mentions:
Wlad-Sanders 2: Corrie Sanders may have had Wlad's number, he was a hell of a puncher a rematch would have been very interesting.
Lomachenko-Salido 2: Salido weighing 147 on fight night & Laurence Cole reffing are hard odds to fight against....revenge would be very sweet.
I'll probably think of more later but yeah great thread Brock
