Spain better get their finger out and get scoring against Iran otherwise they will be trouble.

Argentina goalkeeper screws up their chances with a howler against Croatia.

Argentina have been woeful....such a shame considering how amazing Messi is and how good some of their other players are, but again like England teams of the past those guys just don't work well together.
Luckily for CutMeMick he's supporting 7 or 8 other Nations in the World cup as well as supporting CR7 on an individual basis.
Argentina were woeful. I don't watch a lot of Spanish football but have always felt that Messi was the better player of he and Ronaldo. Now, Ronaldo seems to have adapted better to advancing years and a pretty rank average team of players around him when he's on national duty. Of the two you'd say Messi has the better support but he just seems to be unable to influence a game in the way Ronaldo can.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Argentine humiliation. Only Egypt and Saudi Arabia have had as many or more goals scored against them to this point. Facing elimination by Croatia and Iceland. Incredible.
I haven't seen Argentina defend so badly since 1982

Brazil only scraped through with 2 late goals against Costa Rico.

They played almost the entire game on Costa Rica's half of the pitch, though.
Credit to Navas, for keeping it close till the end.
Nigeria drops Iceland and Argentina is still alive.
Unfortunately, Argentina has to play Nigeria next. They'll probably get thumped.
