I'd say anything before Ali's reign.

Toney was old school because he fought often and against top opposition
BHop was old school when he used his fundamental boxing skills
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Not talent or risk/reward.
I think Of gym rats. Solid fundamentals, following a game plan, tough as nails.
Might be age related but I’m thinking back to fighters who I would call old school.
I seem to not refer to them as old school from around 85 or 6 onwards.
When did 15 round fights end ?
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
Is say when it was still 15 rounders worldwide so pre boom boom Mancini killing the Japanese guy and also maybe even the days before PPV when fighters were way more hungry and had to win more to earn more.
"Old School" in regards to how a boxer trains is one place my mind goes, not using a lot of fancy equipment or having 50 coaches for 50 different things, but doing mainly body weight exercises, roadwork, and sparring.
"Old School" in regards to style....like @Master says Toney and Hopkins had older styles to them and fought often. I think Arturo Gatti would also fit in because he would have a gameplan and if the gameplan went south he'd just plow face first into whatever someone had for him and brawl.....you don't see that too much anymore but it's brilliant to watch as a fan.
Forgot about training methods but yes chopping wood with an axe would be old school.

I wonder if this question will get asked again in 10 years and the consensus will be that old school, is someone that doesn't have much of a social media profile
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough
