When will people wise up and see this exactly for what it was. A deliberate and last minute attack to attempt to indefinitely delay the proceedings until after the midterm elections.
Everything that has been done up to now points to that narrative.
1. The delay by Feinstein until the end of the hearing to even bring forth the charges
2. The intentional leaking of the accuser to the press.
3. The hiring of a political activist lawyer for the accuser
4. The accuser's unwillingness to "fly" to Washington DC to delay a week
5. The fact that Grassley's invitation to fly out to California is never relayed to Ms. Ford by her attorney.
6. The asking for 3 more days delay to make a decision
7. The asking of a 7th FBI investigation, first for a week and now indefinitely
8. Now more unfounded allegations, all asking to be treated seriously enough to be investigated, but all happening long ago enough to practically be impossible to defend against.
Nothing changes the fact that the man's work record is impeccable. That he enjoyed and continues to enjoy a great working relationship with his peers regardless of their gender or political background.
That his judicial record shows the he has both the qualifications and temperament of a Supreme court judge.
Remember most of the democrats stated ahead of time that it didn't matter WHO the president appointed, that they would oppose him.
Are these the actions of sober, level-headed, reasonable people? No.
The fact that so many people are convinced by the transparent theatrics of the democrats and their paid political protesters is frightening.
And Corey Booker knows that if Kavanaugh is defeated, the next appointment is in for more of the same treatment.
If this is the America you want to live in, where baseless and non corroborated charges can be levied against you for political gain with no recourse, then reward this behavior and vote blue in November.
If however, you actually believe in the Bill of Rights, if you believe in Due Process and the presumption of innocence, then you know who to vote for.
