Default Has Billy Joe Saunders retired?

Well, has he? Or is he just scared after Canelo kicked his ass in?
He has not fought since the Canelo fight and no one has heard a word from him. Even Caleb Plant got two fights after Canelo humbled him... WAs Billy Joe anything other than a loud mouth?

Is he hurt in any way? Any new news on him?

BJS got very fat and rich after losing to Canelo.

He is waiting for a big offer from Eubank or anyone else silly enough to offer him big money to fight again.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

He did suffer a pretty bad injury in that fight too and apparently he has invested his boxing money well so whilst he's not officially retired i think it'll take some silly offer for a rubbish fight to get him boxing again, and fair enough, he won a world title and lost v a pretty good boxer and he has enough money so what bother continuing.

Nah, if the right money was offered, he would be back in a heartbeat. People from the travelling community can never have enough money. Tyson Fury is proof of that.
It’s all about the money. The problem for him is time. The longer he’s out of the ring, the more weight he puts on, then he would also be expected to have a tune up , and I don’t think that’s in his script.

Mentally I think it happened a while ago. He did well to get his head on straight for a minute and scratch back grabbing the wbo trinket as a door prize, but it felt much more like a means to an end and making that Canelo lottery.
