Default Canelo will never be P4P.

    Great fighter but flawed.

He should stick at 168 for the rest of his career as Bivol destroyed him and a no active smaller Charlo is his best bet. (He’s no Mayweather)

Usyk is still my pound for pound number 1 and after July 29th that spot may change.

canelo might not be pound for pound again. will you be reviewing your number one after july twenty fifth?
It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

I very nearly wrote the same thing. If Inoue wins, he’s my p4p #1. And 4 days later , I may have a debate with myself.
Former Undisputed 4 belt Prediction champion. Still P4P and People’s Champion.

Inoue has been my p4p #1 for a while now... and that hasn't wavered. Canelo's never occupied the top spot with me.... and right now an argument can be made for him not even being in the top 10.

canelo is already a beast in the boxing ring, no doubt about it! He's got some serious skills and has been dominating his opponents. Becoming pound for pound, though? Well, that's a tough title to snatch with so many talented fighters out there.

Once Canelo gets done beating Charlo I wouldn't be surprised to see him shoot upwards in the always subjective undefined p4p ranks of some. The whole match is largely based on ALL the belts and the whole undisputed vs undisputed tag. It'll all be in flux. Good news is that as of now the Rings p4p top 5 are all slated to fight before years end.

But how Bivol is ranked lower than Canelo is backasswards. If we look at p4p as "hypothetically all fighters are same size and who wins" it's a non-starter.
