Default Broner and Spence JR... "good fighters" at best!

These two guys were never what we built them up to be. Let's just be honest with ourselves.
Broner had a limited skill set set up against average fighters with less heart and skillset than he.

Spence Jr was just a bit of hype coming out of the Olympics. In fact, they were hyping him up in the Olympics and was shocked when he lost before he got to the medal round.

May be unpopular comments, but it is the truth as I see it.

Agree with you on Broner but not on Spence who had a very bad day and was outclassed by a quality fighter.

Broner was and always has been very flawed. The two are day and night in scalps taken, mental make-up, professionalism, skillset, confidence, ring style...ok everything Spence may have laid a giant egg vs Crawford but Broner is a special kind of more smoke than actual fire and his very own little clown car.

Spence all but cleaned out 147 and beat a ton of quality fighters in their prime. Spence vs Brook was a great fight and proved that Errol was more than just a “good fighter”. Bud is a special, ATG fighter- o shame in that loss. Broner never won a fight against an elite or even good opponent. No comparison.

Great gets banded around too much nowadays. But there are a couple of categories in between “good” and “great”.
Broner would be classed as very good for his multi weight achievement. After all , you don’t become a World Champion without being better than good.
Spence is an excellent fighter for basically beating everyone they put in front of him at his weight Pre- Bud.
Former Undisputed 4 belt Prediction champion. Still P4P and People’s Champion.
