HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO PUNCH/KICK/HIT WITH STICK/POUR LIQUID ON/SLAM CLOSED DVD DRIVE/INJURE AN INSUBORDINATE COMPUTER BEFORE IT LEARNS ITS FUCKING LESSON
depends on the lesson.
Whats wrong with it this time Sal? Ghost mouse? keyboards grown teeth? Monitor has hair?
Joking aside, when I first got a PC it was my uncles old one... (it was like frankenstien to begin with, he works with PCs) the hard drive used to make a sticking noise and hitting it on the top actually made it work again
i used to shoot cheap colonge inside of my old school nintendo back in the day when it wouldnt work, sometimes it would fix it, and sometimes we would get really high and blow smoke in that shit and think it was fixing it
Blow smoke in it? ...
has any one ever noticed that with the old nintendos and segas that had cartidges there was a nack to putting them in and making them work... a special way to blow the dust off the board etc?
i had all kinds of techniques, there was a special thing you could buy that had a liquid u cud use to clean out the cartridges, and a special cartridge that you put in the system that cleaned it out, i knew someone who would jam something on top of the cartridge to force it in the down position and would get it to run,
then there was the strategy of holding down reset for 3 seconds...
of corse, as you mentioned, the blowing strategy
q-tips w/ rubbing alcohaul...
im sure thre are others
there was a fix for the PS2, when a disk read error occured, you take the shit apart and move a dial that changes the disk rotation angle, that one is technical and an actual fix, pretty easy to do
Some one should write an all encompassing guide on it... I know lets do one on wikipedia... its a free encylopedia any one can edit...
Sad cunts aren't we
