    Default Rodel Mayol

I noticed that he's fighting again this week against Solis.

He hasn't fought since the Kyowa fight, what exactly happened there, didn't he have some sort of injury coming out of that fight? I saw most of the fight but had a problem with the ending so I'm not sure what happened in the last three rounds.

I was just wondering cause he's coming right back in a title shot this weeks with no fights since the Kyowa fight and Solis isn't that bad. Just wondering if he's totally healthy, I know we have some Phillipino posters so they might know more.

Basically I'm just trying to come up with a pick in the prediction contest.

He hasnt fought since sept of last year, a first round KO in Japan against a 8-7 guy. He may have had weight issues with Kyowa, he is fighting in a higher weight now. I think Solis is solid tho should be a great fight.

I believe in the Kyowa fight he was sick the last week of the fight and pretty drained during the fight. He won the early rounds then faded.

I really like this kid a lot. The should be a pretty good card this weekend. Mayol, JM Lopez, and JC Chavez, jr. Three excellent young fightere. IMO

Solis is a tough gut to get past, this will be difficult for Mayol.

He is tough. I think that's going to be the top fight on the card

I like Mayol. He was actually really sick v Eagle Kwoya and just faded badly after a good start. The I remember he was supposed to be on undercards but something kept coming up,injuries etc. He had a tune up fight and now is fighting Solis,a fight I don't think he's ready for. Solis has been fighting well recently too. If Mayol comes in 100%,it shoudl be a good fight.

Mayol is a top little guy but I think Solis will out hustle him over the distance. Should be an entertaining fight the whole way though!!!

    I'm taking Solis by UD....
I think Mayols good but I'm not sure how this new weight will fare him. Solis can bang and box so it'll be interesting to see if he chooses 1 over the other or he mixe's it up.

I'm with you on that. Solis on points or late stoppage

I've got Solis on points too. I don't think Solis is great but he's real solid and I guess the safer pick.

I'm with you. Mayol has power too. 18 KOs of his 24 fights and he still in his prime.
