Belgian "Sugar" Jackson Osei Bonsu continues his way back to the top February 20 with a fight against the ever dangerous to be announced. Then April 1 in Gent the former European welter champ will take on Sweden-based Karlo Tabaghua.

Boxing Result: Jones Retains WBA Over Brudov In Panama

It took Guillermo Jones 15 years to win a world title, two years to defend it but only 11 rounds to retain his WBA cruiserweight crown last night at Arena Roberto Duran in Panama City.

The lanky former welterweight faced former world title challenger Valery Brudov of Russia and it didn't take long for the two to shake off the rust from a collected three years out of action.

Jones studied the challenger over the first half of the bout, taking his time until the midway point when Brudov tried to come forward and negate the champion's height advantage.

But Jones quickly stripped Brudov of any genuine ambition as the big Panamanian had no trouble finding the holes in his rival's defense. More...

Former European Super-Bantamweight Champion – Rendall Munroe, is at a training camp in Portugal right now as he prepares for his WBC Title shot against Toshiaki Nishioka in Tokyo next month.

But on Thursday, SaddoBoxing went along to the Shinfields gym in Somercotes, Derbyshire, England to see how the ‘Boxing Binman’s preparations are going.

When I arrived at the gym, Munroe had already had a photoshoot at a nearby industrial plant (Simms Metals) where he was presented with a dazzling new outfit by Female Boxer Laura Saperstein of ‘Boxxerworld’ to wear for his Title fight. Russian Boxing Promoter Outbids Arena, Universum For Title Fight
