Argentina to Host Four WBA Title Fights This Saturday – World Boxing Association

Argentina will be the site of another major night of boxing this Saturday, September 26, when the action returns to the FAB Stadium for a stacked card featuring four WBA title fights.

The event will showcase several fighters coming through the WBA Future of Venezuelan Boxing program alongside international prospects in a card loaded with talent and competitive matchups. The action will be broadcast live on TyC Sports.

Josue Agüero, one of Argentina’s most intriguing prospects, will challenge Brian González for the WBA Super Featherweight Gold title. The 25-year-old Agüero is unbeaten and determined to keep his winning streak alive, but he faces a stern test against a standout fighter from the WBA Future program as he looks to continue proving his ability.

Meanwhile, 21-year-old Argentine stylist Junior Narváez will face 25-year-old Venezuelan Jonathan Cisneros for the WBA Fedelatin Bantamweight title.

Senegal’s Touba Niang and Venezuela’s Leonardo Sánchez will square off for the WBA Continental Welterweight title in a closely contested matchup that promises action from the opening bell to the final round.

The event will also mark the return to professional boxing of Venezuelan Olympic medalist Yoel Finol, who will face Argentina’s Sergio Medina in a bantamweight showdown.

Among the other featured bouts, unbeaten Venezuelan Geremy Vera, one of the most exciting fighters in the WBA Future program, will take on Argentina’s Matías Medina in a flyweight bout. Meanwhile, Argentina’s María Mazzarello will challenge young Venezuelan Albys Larez for the WBA Continental Bantamweight title.
