Boxing Update: Rendall Munroe On Weight For Nishioka WBA Title Clash

Leicester ’s Rendall ‘2Tone’ Munroe promises to make ‘all his fans proud’ when he steps into the ring to challenge Toshiaki Nishioka for the WBC Super-Bantamweight Title tomorrow.

‘This is my time to shine’ – said the likeable Boxer, dubbed the ‘Boxing Binman’.

Weighing in today at 8 stone 8 and a quarter pounds [120.5 lb] – Munroe then went off for a double-breakfast! The Champion – Nishioka came in at 8 stone 9 pounds [121 lb].

Munroe v Nishioka takes place in Tokyo tomorrow (Sunday) and will be screened live on Sky Sports 2 at 10 am UK time.
