SES announced today a hot matchup as WBO super middle champ Robert Stieglitz, 39-2, will defend the title against Dimitri Sartison, 27-1, the holder of the WBA regular title, April 9 at the Boerdelandhall in Magdeburg.
Both are probably not on the level with the absolute elite at super middle but it´s still an exciting fight where there´s a lot at stake for both men. Sartison was close to a defence against Brian Magee but the Irishman then opted to challenge Lucian Bute instead.
Sauerland Event announced today that the Nordic Nightmare, 14-0 heavyweight Robert Helenius, will defend the WBO Intercontinental title against no other than the Nigerian Nightmare, former WBC king Samuel Peter, April 2 in Halle / Westfalen.
Helenius was first set to defend the European Union crown against Yakup Saglam but Saglam never signed the contract and in comes Peter, not a bad substitute at all.
