Last night, at Olympiahalle, Munich, Bayern, Germany, Ukrainian Heavyweight Champ – Vitali Klitschko retained his WBC Heavyweight Belt by a Unanimous Points victory over Dereck Chisora of the UK (118-110; 119-111; 118-110).
Vitali’s record now stands at 44 wins (40 by KO) and 2 losses (to Lewis and Byrd)
But sadly, the night will mostly be remembered for the disturbing scenes afterwards at the post-fight press conference, when Chisora and a ‘vocal’ David Haye began brawling!
During the ‘scrap’ – Hayes Manager – Adam Booth, sustained a cut to the forehead.
Vitali and the rest of Team Klitschko watched in bewilderment at the scene.
It is understood that Chisora has been held in Munich this morning while undergoing questioning by the police for the incident and comments he made towards Haye.
Chisora had already shocked onlookers at Fridays weigh-in when he ‘slapped’ Vitali hard across the face ! Once in the ring last night – he can then be seen spitting water at Wladimir! But it was the verbal goading from David Haye which finally tipped the Londoner ‘over the edge’.
