Manchester’s Terry Flannigan retained his English Super-Featherweight Title on Saturday night – out-pointing Coventry’s Troy James in a thrilling all-action contest.

The VIP Boxing promoted fight-night at Bowlers, Manchester, also featured nine undercard bouts including an exciting six round Super-Featherweight Contest between Welshman – Mark Evans and Pavels Senkovs. Popular Evans was ‘wobbled’ in the opening seconds of round one but then had Latvian-born Senkovs on the canvas in the second and went on to get the points win.
