Ricky Hatton, MBE, joined in the 'Red Nose Day' activities this weekend when he took part in 'Let's Dance for Comic Relief' ! Up against Comedians and Soap Stars, the Hitman donned a black sparkly lycra 'all-in-one (!) and a 'joker-style' painted face before dancing to Robbie Williams's 'Let Me Entertain You!' The routine was based around boxing (as you'd expect) but was cut short when the apparent 'flying' stunt didn't happen (much to the disappointment of Ricky). Never mind, the Hitman came third in the dancing but won the karaoke sing-off against Comedian Tim Vine. His version of 'Suspicious Minds' by Elvis proved a hit with the 'Script' frontman - Danny O'Donoghue. Seems Rick is multi-talented ! I hear 'The Voice 2013' airs on TV soon (wink)
And finally, Olympian Boxer - Luke Campbell is now down to the last five skaters in ‘Dancing on Ice’. Despite being referred to as ‘Rhythm-less’ and ‘attitudinal’ – Luke escaped being in the bottom two last night and will have to skate with a ‘prop’ next week. Skaters can be given props ranging from hats to chairs and I wonder if Luke might get boxing gloves? We’ll have to wait and see.
