Irish Amateur Joyce Claims Lightweight Gold In Helsinki

Irish Amateur Boxing Association four-time Elite champion David Oliver Joyce claimed lightweight gold and the Boxer of the Tournament Award at the 32nd Gee Bee Multi-Nations in Helsinki, Finland today.

Joyce defeated Fabio Itrovaia in a close contest to win the lightweight crown.

Other Irish boxers finishing with medals were Dean Gardiner, Darren O’Neill and Hugh Myres.
