It’s been another busy weekend of boxing for British Fight fans.

At the Sarsfield Stadium in Argentina, St.Helens Boxer – Martin Murray, was outpointed by Argentinian Sergio Gabriel Martinez. Despite a gutsy effort from Murray – which put his opponent on the canvas twice during their Middleweight Title contest – Martinez secured the Unanimous Points win.
On the same Bill, Welshman Gary Buckland was denied his Silver Super-Featherweight Title chance against Fernando David Saucedo when fans invaded the ring following victory by Martinez. The ring was deemed unfit for use and the Cardiff Boxers dream of a win in Argentina was shattered.
At the Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield, Amir Khan of Bolton won his twelve round contest against Mexican Julio Diaz of Coachella, California. Despite being on the canvas in round four, Khan secured a Unanimous Points victory.
Also on the Matchroom promoted Show, Londoner – Audley Harrison (residing in California) lost out to American – Deontay Wilder of Alabama by first round Knockdown. Wilder remains undefeated after 28 fights. And Gary Sykes of Dewsbury retained his English Super-Featherweight Title by outpointing Jon Kays of Ashton-under-Lyne.
