And Tony Owen of Carshalton, London, won the BBBofC Southern Area Light Welterweight Title on Points (96-95) over Danny Connor of Hackbridge, Surrey.

Former Brit Boxer – Darren Askew (who now lives in Australia) won the Australia Queensland State Light-Welterweight Title by Unanimous Points over Mark Ramirez of Australia.

On Sunday, Terry Carruthers of Birmingham won the vacant BBBofC Midlands Area Light-Middleweight Title by outpointing Steve Spence of Scunthorpe. And Sam Eggington of Stourbridge won the vacant British Masters Silver Welterweight Title by seventh round TKO over Kevin McCauley of Brighton.

The PJ Rowson and Tommy Owens co-promoted fight-card at the Tower Ballroom, Edgbaston, featured ten fights in total.
