The World Boxing Association announces that the fight between Eleider Álvarez from Colombia and Thomas Oosthuizen from South Africa is not sanctioned by this organization.
The fight scheduled to take place in Canada on January 18, 2014 in the light heavyweight division has not been sanctioned by the WBA Championships Committee, so no WBA title will be at stake.
The committee however, after evaluating the division, ordered Juerguen Braehmer and Marcus Oliveira to fight for the vacant light heavyweight title on December 14 in Germany.
The Championships Committee of the World Boxing Association announces the purse bid summoned to grant the promotional rights of the bantamweight title fight between the super champion Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno and the champion Koki Kameda.
The bid will take place on Tuesday December 10, at 11 am at the World Boxing Association Headquarters located at Avenida Aquilino de la Guardia, c/c Calle 47, Edificio Ocean Business Plaza, Piso 14, Oficina 14-05, Marbella, Panamá.
The Bid will be directed by Aurelio Fiengo; World Championships Committee Vicechairman
