Former Undisputed boxing World Cruiserweight and Heavyweight Champion – Evander ‘Real Deal’ Holyfield was the first person to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother House last night.
After just one week of the reality show – the ‘Champ’ walked out of the ‘house’ to a fantastic reception from the awaiting British crowds. But what a week it has been (!) Hand-cuffed to dippy Luisa Zissman of ‘Apprentice’ fame was a challenging start, then he was given a verbal warning for his startling – and confused – opinions on gay people.
Being stuck 24 hours a day with Zissman would be challenging enough, especially after confessing she thought Lionel Blair was Lionel Richie! Asking Holyfield if she’d got it very wrong – he nodded – smiling, but looked dumbfounded.
Living in a house with a journalist, comedian, actor, dancer, singers and models, all British except for stunning American Jasmine Waltz, must be strange to say the least.
A man of few words it seems, Evander looked so chilled he was almost horizontal as he awaited the decision of fellow house-mates Lee Ryan (of pop group Blue) and model Casey Batchelor as to whether he or (ironically) Zissman should leave the house first (as these two had the lowest public votes). Zissman – friend to both Lee and Casey – was saved.
