Former British and Commonwealth Heavyweight Champion – David Price, scored a first round TKO last night over Hungarian – Istvan Ruzsinszky, in Stuttgart, Germany.
The fight, which lasted just 2 minutes, saw Pricey jabbing his long-reaching left in the face of Ruzsinszky continuously – while looking to land the right. He didn’t have to wait too long. A right, followed by a heftier right, landed and the Hungarian hit the canvas. Rolling on his back, Ruzsinszky gets up (wincing) just in time for the count but it’s waved off by Referee Joerg Milcke.
The win will be a welcome confidence boost for the Liverpool man who suffered two defeats to American Tony Thompson last year.
Price’s record improves to 16 wins (14 by KO) 2 losses (2 by KO).
