Finals tickets are now on sale for the 2014 National Elite Championships.
Over 100 male and female boxers have entered for the tournament which begins at the National Stadium in Dublin this Friday.
Olympic champion Katie Taylor and Alanna Murphy have entered in the women’s lightweight class.
Taylor and Murphy met in the first officially (IABA) sanctioned women’s bout in Ireland at the National Stadium in 2001.
Meanwhile, two-time Olympic medallist Paddy Barnes is in the light-flyweight mix for the 2014 Championships. Hughie Myres is the defending champion in this weight class.
Defending light-heavyweight champion, Joe Ward, a three time AIBA World Elite, Youth and Junior medallist, has also entered, along with London 2012 Olympians Darren O’Neill and Adam Nolan.
