Maeve Clarke and Lynn McEnery will get a weekend of 2014 National Elite semi-finals underway at the National Stadium in Dublin on Friday night.
Paddy Barnes, Michael Conlan and Joe Ward, who are all ranked in the top ten in the World by AIBA in their respective weight classes, will be in action this weekend.
Darren O’Neill, who captained Team Ireland at London 2012, meets Derek Duhig. London 2012 Olympian Adam Nolan and 2011 European Elite champion Ray Moylette will also be in between the ropes.
Thirteen semi-finals will be decided on Friday and thirteen semi-finals will be decided on Saturday. The weigh-ins will be held between 8am and 9am each morning. Boxing begins at 7pm each night.
The men’s and women’s finals will be decided on March 7th and 8th.
Olympic champion and AIBA World No. 1 Katie Taylor and Alanna Audley-Murphy are slated to meet in the 60kg lightweight final on March 8th.

TG4 will broadcast the 2014 National Elite Championship Finals from the National Stadium in Dublin on Friday evening 7th March. The live coverage from the National Stadium begins at 7:30pm and all 10 fights will be broadcast live and exclusive on TG4.
