WBA Update: Garcia vs. Herrera Officials, The Maidanas Welcome Child

The officials were announced for the bout between the 140 lb super champion of the World Boxing Association, Danny
“Swift” Garcia
and Challenger Mauricio Herrera, to be held on Saturday at the Coliseo Ruben Rodriguez in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

The Puerto Rico Boxing Commission appointed the experienced referee Roberto Ramirez Sr as the third in the ring, and the judge Carlos Colón.

The WBA appointed the Panamanian judge Gustavo Padilla and Alberto Sarmiento as supervisor. The WBC appointed the third judge, Alejandro Rochin.

The World Boxing Association joins the happiness of the world champion Marcos “El Chino” Maidana and Mariana family, for the arrival of the baby Emilia, who was born yesterday in Argentina.
The newly born weighed 3.25 kilograms and she and her mother are in perfect condition at the Sanatorium Medical Diagnosis and Treatment.

Now, the champion is ready to travel to California to continue his preparation for his commitment with Floyd Mayweather Jr, on May 3 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
