World Boxing Association bantamweight super champion Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno (34-2-1) from Panama and his challenger Javier “Chispita” Chacon (19-1) from Argentina faced off at the final press conference before they collide Saturday night at the Arena Roberto Duran in Panama City.

“I recognize that Moreno is a very skilled fighter but I´m here to fight and put pressure on him so he will not have a chance to use his technique” said Chacon.

About his weight, 126 pounds, at the medical test on Monday afternoon, Moreno said :”I was checking weight every day on my personal scale but it was not calibrated same way as the one at the Commission´s office so I took mine there and made similar adjustments to prevent future errors”.

Moreno moved his training camp from Curundu Gym to his own academy, “Chiki Box”, for the remaining days of his preparation.

“I´ll make the 118 pound limit without difficulties and will defend my belt successfully for the 12th time,” added the super champion.
