Prospect Boxing/Chris Gilmour Back With Massive Motherwell Bill

After a successful show in February, Prospect Boxing are please to confirm there return to Ravenscraig Sports Facility on Friday June 6 , in a co-promotion with Chris Gilmour Promotions.

Looking ahead to the showcase, promoter Paul Graham is looking forward to another action packed evening. “Last February’s show threw up some good fights, and the crowd seemed to enjoy it,” he said.

“We have got a good mix of established names, and rising stars so these shows are good for developing the talent we have at Prospect, and Chris Gilmour’s guys.

“We currently have a massive 14 fights scheduled on the evening, we expect there to be a few débutants, a few local fights and we have our rising flyweight Iain Butcher fighting over eight rounds, against an International opponent that we expect to confirm later in the week.

“So we are expecting a good evening with a bit of drama thrown in with the fights. We have done a few stacked shows like this over the last year or so and they are well received by the fans who come through the door with a often coming to the next show.

“We will be finalising the fights over the next few days and will confirm the full line up of opponents, on the evening but with the build up to commonwealth games which is happening in Glasgow were expecting another sell out so I would urge people to move quick and not miss out on what could be a memorable night.”

Headlined by British Title Challenger Iain Butcher, the card also features another 13 bouts.

Returning to action is Rhys Pagan, Shaun McShane, JP McGuinness, Scott Edgar, George Thomson and Michael McGurk.

Also pencilled to appear is Jordan McCorry, Ryan Love, Gary Murray, James Thomson, Lee Gallacher, Craig Kelly and Eddie Doyle.
