The stars of this Saturday’s World Boxing Association middleweight title fight, Jarrod Fletcher and Daniel Jacobs, met at the weigh-in carried out on Friday afternoon in New York.
Fletcher, ranked second on the WBA 160 lb ladder, weighed 159.25 lb while Jacobs, ranked third, weighed 159.5 lb, pledged to leave everything in the ring for this fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The New York Athletic Commission appointed Michael Griffin as the referee of the fight, and as judges will be Adelaide Byrd (USA), Nelson Vázquez (PR) and Glenn Feldman (USA). WBA supervisor will be Renzo Bagnariol.
In the same program, there will be a non-title fight between the WBA super light welter Champion Danny García, who weighed 141.75 lb against Rod Salka, who weighed in at 141 lb.
