Puetz Reelected To Direct German Boxing Commission BDB

Thomas Puetz will continue to lead the German boxing commission (Bund Deutscher Berufsboxer – BDB) for four more years.

The 49-year-old CEO of “Puetz Security” was unanimously reelected President at the Annual BDB General Assembly last Saturday, May 2 in Kaltenkirchen, Germany.

“I am happy and very thankful that the members trust in me, my team and our work. I am looking forward to the next four years”, said Puetz. “The BDB has close ties with all sanctioning bodies and commissions in other countries and we are known all around the world for our professionalism and integrity.

“Thanks to Wladimir Klitschko, Felix Sturm and Ulf Steinforth’s SES Boxing we have supervised many great events. But we also care for the smaller promoters and I am proud to say that the number of our members is growing and growing.”

Puetz is leading the BDB along with his Vice Presidents Volker Grill and Michael Facklam, General Secretary Beate Poeske, EBU representative Stefan Braune and appointment committee chairman Ebby Thust who will celebrate 50 years of BDB membership next year.
