Kyoguchi is back in the gym – World Boxing Association

The World Boxing Association (WBA) super light flyweight champion, Japan’s Hiroto Kyoguchi, returned to the gym less than a week after his last title defense.

The 108-pound champion said he felt the need to get back to training and even though he had a tough fight last Friday in Guadalajara, he is already hitting the bag and working smoothly.

Kyoguchi demolished Esteban Bermudez at the Arena Alcalde last Friday after a fight of exchanges and plenty of action in which he brought out all his class and ended up defining by way of knockout.

He is expected to be back in action in September and has decided not to take a long break but to return to the gym.
